OLIPES, S.L. set up in Spain in 1993 with the support and collaboration of a highly specialised Human Team, acutely aware of the needs of the world of Industry and Automobiles as far as LUBRICANT (GREASES AND OILS) and chemicals for maintenance and cleaning are concerned.  After many years on the lubricants market, OLIPES represents a Vanguard Technology and has undoubtedly already become a reference point for other companies in the sector and manufacturers of state-of-the-art equipment, working closely with the latter on the development of new products adapted to the needs of the new industrial equipment, engines, automation state-of-the-art equipment etc.
The Research, Development and innovation work undertaken by OLIPES has resulted in the commercialisation of over 600 types of lubricants and greases which, in their different formats, exceed 2,000 references. Products which are already trusted by over 8,000 clients served by a network of technicians, delegates, representatives and, in particular, distributors, spread throughout national and international territory. As regards the distribution of OLIPES products we should stress the role of the distributor as it is on the latter that OLIPES has focused all its efforts, providing it with permanent Qualified Technical Advice thanks to a post-sales service which is in constant development, made up of chemists and engineers which advise it.
As regards distribution by sectors, the automotive sector encompasses virtually 40% of turnover, undergoing constant growth in line with the rest of the sectors, with the Industrial product range the one which has developed most in recent years, catering for the needs of over 70% of different market sectors.
The manufacture of lubricants for other brands, commonly called "White brands", "own brands, "corporate image brands" or "group brands" is another of the strengths which characterizes the competitiveness of OLIPES thanks to the flexible packing lines, meaning it is able to manufacture from 1,000 litres of lubricants in 125cc cans to complete 30,000 litres cisterns, and in record time. Another sector which it is hard to classify as Industrial or Automotive, but which is endowed with clearly defend characteristics is that of Public Works and heavy machinery which, along with the Agricultural sector, is the second largest in terms of OLIPES production. This sector, along with professional haulage, is ever more demanding: immediate technical advice and service is what is expensive for the client is not the lubricant but rather the stoppage of the vehicle or machine owing to the lack of lubricant, the stoppages for relubrication and the malfunctions caused by deploying non-recommended lubricants. In turn, the Industrial area is the most prominent area of OLIPES in terms of development potential, becoming a business opportunity for its distributors.
On a market in constant evolution, with information being more accessible to all consumers and professionals, particularly since the installation of the new technologies and internet at the work post, OLIPES offers a HIGH TECHNOLOGICAL LEVEL, CERTIFIED QUALITY, A COMPETITIVE PRICE, SERVICE and TECHNICAL ADVICE. Metal machining is another of the industrial sectors requiring special attention in the presentation of OLIPES and it is a field in which its technicians have invested many hours of R+D+I to achieve more environmentally-friendly products and improve the health conditions at work, removing in the formulation of its pure, soluble machining oils components as contaminating or harmful as nitrites, secondary amines or chlorinated products, inter alia. Also worthy of special mention is the number of hours dedicated to the training of technical staff, distributors and clients by way of lubrication courses given on site and online.
