Vulcoway 68 is also recommended for the lubrication of helical gears, hypoids and worm gear in machine tools.
It is a multifunction product for use in:
- Vertical and horizontal guides in machining centres.
- Sliding tables subjected to high loads.
- Sliding tables subjected to high loads.
Properties:
- Excellent anti-stick-slip capability, reducing vibrations during movement.
- Exceptional anti-wear properties and Extreme Pressure.
- Good filterability and de-emulsion.
- Excellent thermal and oxidative stability.
- Light colour and soft odour.
- Compatible with most soluble cutting oils in use.
- Provides a 1-2 value in the SKC test of compatibility with soluble cutting oils.
- Does not attack epoxy coatings.
- Compatible with frequently-used joints and elastomers. Does not attack non-ferrous metals, or the painting of machining centres.
