Oliterm 30 is a heat transfer, paraffinic structured and highly refined mineral oil, whose additivation gives it great thermal stability and resistance to the oxidation for its use in heating and indirect cooling systems.
 
Properties and Advantages:
 
- Excellent thermal and oxidation stability, keeping the circuits free of deposits and avoiding the increase of viscosity, thus guaranteeing the efficiency of the heat transfer process. Long life of the fluid in service, which allows a reduction in costs with maintenance stops and at times of inactivity.
- High thermal conductivity, that allows a faster dissipation of heat.
- Its low vapour pressure guarantees the resistance to cracking.
- High specific heat. - Good flowability at low temperatures, facilitating start-up.
- Its high viscosity index minimises viscosity variations during the heat transfer process, which would affect the efficiency of the process.
- Non-corrosive.
 
Applications:
 
- Closed circuit heat transfer systems. Application temperature range (thermal limit layer temperature): -10°C to +350°C. In order to achieve the maximum application temperatures it is essential to keep the circuit completely closed, avoiding at all times the presence of oxygen and/or moisture.
- Open circuit heat transfer systems. Application temperature range (thermal limit layer temperature): -10°C to +110°C.
