Oliterm Sil-100 is a category H1 special synthetic fluid, for applications in possible accidental contact with food.
PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES:
It has excellent thermal conductivity.
Excellent thermal and chemical stability, maintaining circuits free of deposits, extending the useful life of the fluid.
High viscosity index, especially suitable for minimizing viscosity variations during heat transfer.
APPLICATIONS:
Heat transfer fluid in food and/or pharmaceutical industry:
1. In closed circulation systems. Application range from -20 °C (-4 °F) to +300 °C (+572 °F). It is essential to maintain the circuit perfectly closed, avoiding any presence of oxygen and/or moisture.
2. In open systems, heating baths. Application range from -20 °C (-4 °F) to +220 °C (+428 °F). It is essential to maintain the circuit free of humidity and no trace of previous products.
