Flow Syn CP Atox 32

Flow Syn CP Atox 32

7197620-HAL

Multifunctional ATOXIC 100% synthetic lubricant, manufactured with Polyalphaolefin (PAO) oils and ash-free additives, especially for the lubrication of air compressors, vacuum pumps and hydraulic systems. Also ideal for gearboxes, chains and general greasing where oils with these viscosity grades are required.

Available in
  • 20 Litres
  • 200 Litres

Formulated from FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved components, they comply with the USDA-H1 standard, required for those lubricants used in the food and pharmaceutical industry where there is a risk of technically unavoidable incidental contact between the lubricant and the food.

PROPERTIES AND ADVANTAGES:

  • Excellent rust resistance (passes the Pneurop Oxidation Test) and very high thermal and chemical stability.

  • Very low tendency to form sludge, lacquers, deposits and carbonaceous residues, minimises the formation of residues on valves and pistons, avoiding the risk of explosions and fires.

  • Its high flash point and low volatility offer increased safety and reduced product consumption.

  • Depending on the manufacturer and the air discharge temperature, it allows very long change intervals (up to 8,000 hours or more in screw compressors), reducing product and maintenance costs.

  • Very extensive range of working temperatures.

  • Low coefficient of friction and increased wear protection, which, together with higher thermal conductivity and heat dissipation capacity, results in lower operating temperatures and additional energy savings compared to mechanisms using conventional mineral oils.

  • High anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties, minimal foaming and excellent de-emulsion properties.

  • Compatible with typical seals and elastomers for mineral oils and other compatible synthetic oils.

  • Formulated according to USDA requirements, based on FDA Codes, Title 21, it is suitable for use in accordance with the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programme implemented by the USDA.

APPLICATIONS

  • Lubrication of static or portable air compressors operating at compression/discharge temperatures up to 220°C and pressures above 10 bar, especially where an H1 quality lubricant is required to allow incidental contact of the lubricant with food.

  • ISO viscosities: 32, 46 and 68 are typical in rotary (vane, centrifugal or screw) (46 in Screw);

  • For piston and blower compressors where higher viscosities are required: ISO-100 (SAE-30); ISO-150 (SAE-40); ISO-220 (SAE-50) or ISO-320 (SAE-60), we recommend using our MAXIGEAR ATOX, perfectly prepared and suitable for these applications.

  • Its zinc-free additive package allows it to be used in hydraulic systems where ash-free fluids are required and even in gearboxes where a high-performance lubricant with long drain intervals is needed without H1 requirements.

  • These products are also suitable and recommended for gearboxes and for the greasing of chains operating in extreme temperature ranges and requiring oils of these viscosities.
