OLIPES´ interest in this year´s Spanish Enduro and Cross Country Championship lies in the hands of Raúl Frutos de Mingo from Madrid, an experienced young rider who has been competing for the top places in the junior category for several years now.
Raúl was raised in Miraflores de la Sierra, one of the areas with the highest number of biker enthusiasts in the province of Madrid, and he was Spanish Enduro TN Champion and Madrid Cross Country Junior Champion in 2020. He has also been doing battle in regional championships with great success for a number of years: Madrid Enduro Pre-Open Champion (2018 and 2019), Castilla La Mancha Enduro Pre-Open Champion (2018), Madrid Superenduro Pre-Open Champion (2016) ...
This season he will be making his debut in the “junior-open” category astride a Sherco 250 2T, one of the leading motorcycles capable of successfully taking on its main rivals, KTM and Husqvarna. Our rider has set his sights as high as possible: “my goal for this year´s Spanish Enduro Championship is to achieve the best possible results in the new category (junior open) and to finish in the podium positions or even fight for victory again in the Spanish Cross Country Championship”.
We hope these goals will be easier to achieve with the backing of OLIPES and we wish Raúl the best of luck throughout the Championship and a season full of triumphs.
