Caterpillar recommends quality levels:
API CJ-4 (CAT ECF-3) for engines with Diesel
Particulate Filters (DPF or FAP);
CATERPILLAR API CH-4 (CAT ECF-1-�) and API CI-4 (CAT ECF-2) to Motor Graders: 12M, 14M, 120M, 140M, 160M, 160M
avoid reducing the engine working life. AWD and previous models.
API CF-4 is not suitable for Caterpillar diesel engines.
Oil change interval: maximum 3 months or 500 hours.
