Acat SE 260

Acat SE 260 is a high quality, very stable and low evaporation 100% synthetic oil, specially developed for the lubrication of chains subjected to high temperature.

 

Properties and Advantages:

 

- Exceptional lubricating characteristics, over those of a conventional mineral oil.
- Effective lubrication at high temperatures, maintaining the thickness of the lubricating film in the zones of maximum friction.
- High thermal stability and oxidation. Resistant to the formation of oxidation products that are produced at high working temperatures, keeping the chains clean and free of deposits.
- It will not form hard lacquers that can prevent the passage of oil, which would cause a fault in the chain through a lack of lubrication.
- Good anti-wear protection, lengthening the service life of chains and sprockets.
- High viscosity index, which guarantees good lubrication at low temperatures during start-up, reducing the power absorbed by increase in viscosity at low temperature.
- Minimal losses through evaporation at high temperatures, which eliminates the need for continuous lubrication and reduces lubricant consumption.

- Good adhesion to metallic surfaces and rapid wetting of the points of greatest friction.

Applications:

 

- Air conveyors subjected to high temperatures.
- Joint lubrication of roller chains, double-pitch chains, lifting chains, conveyor chains, ball bearings, joints, chain bolts and sliding rails.
- Oven transport or drag chains, high temperature tunnels, heat treatment ovens, paint ovens, dryers, operating at temperatures up to 240 ºC.
- Pulp and wood industry chains, chipboard panel manufacturing chains, Pin-Chain type chains and in general in applications where they require chain lubricants with a very low rate of evaporation and excellent degree of cleaning.
