Flow Cement
FLOW CEMENT is a powerful acidic descaler whose formulation includes passivators and inhibitors of acid attack on metal surfaces.
Its high wetting power facilitates the penetration of the acid into the components of the scale, thereby helping their faster dissolution, while preventing attack on the metallic elements that are in contact with the acid solution.
USES:
In chemical cleaning to remove salts, calcareous and cement deposits, encrustations and oxides, existing on pipes, plates, heaters, circuits, molds, etc.
MODE OF USE:
The usual systems for applying FLOW CEMENT can be:
- By circulating system.
- By immersing the pieces in a suitable bath.
- By brush application, manually.
The concentration varies depending on the amount of scale or deposit to be removed, the temperature and action time and the system used in its application:
- In circulating systems, 5-10%.
- In immersion baths, at 30-50%.
- In manual application, at 20-30%.
Storage: 24 months from the date of purchase when stored in its original closed container, in a cool, covered place and protected from humidity, sun and frost.
TOXICITY:
Due to the high acid content in FLOW CEMENT, the following precautions must be taken:
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
- Wear suitable gloves, goggles and apron or protective clothing.
- Avoid breathing vapors. Use protection.
- Use in well-ventilated areas.
In case of splashes on the skin, wash the affected area with a 5% aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate and rinse thoroughly with water.
