MAXIGRAS 3000 BBO/1-0 is a fluid, biodegradable lubricating grease formulated with selected bases of vegetable origin, for the lubrication of railroad switch or set of points, rail or track flanks (FLS) on curves* and wheel flanges in railway systems.

Available in
  • 20 Litres
  • 200 Litres

MAXIGRAS 3000 BBO/1-0 features excellent rail flank adherence, good resistance to washing with water, Extreme Pressure load (EP) and anti-wear (AW), high levels of biodegradability and excellent pumpability, including at low temperatures (up to -40 ºC), and can be applied both manually and using automatic high and low pressure lubrication systems, in a wide range of temperatures.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Specifically recommended for the lubrication of railroad switch or set of points, rail or track flanks (FLS) on curves* and wheel flanges in railway systems.
  • Lost-oil lubrication of farming and construction machinery.
  • Gardening equipment and forestry machinery.
  • Greasing of wire ropes and drag chains in port machinery.
  • Sewage treatment plants.
  • Gates and shaft valves in shipyards, marshes, dams and hydroelectric plants.
  • General greasing of machinery operating in areas with the potential risk of contamination of aquifers, environmentally protected areas, leisure areas, …

PROPERTIES:

  • Biodegradable.
  • Operating temperature from -30 ºC to +120 ºC (-22 ºF to + 248 ºF).
  • Excellent resistance to water.Good resistance to washing with hot and cold water.
  • High extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear (AW) capacity.
  • Excellent adherence, unctuousness and lubricity.
  • Heavy protection against corrosion and oxidation.
