API Diesel (Commercial) TIR GLOBAL
Introduced in 2006. For high-speed, four-stroke engines designed to meet USA 2007
on-highway exhaust emission standards. It admits diesel fuels ranging in sulfur
content up to 0.05%. However sulfur content may impact oil drain interval. Low SAPS
oils are effective at sustaining emission control system durability where particulate
filters (DPF or FAP) and other advanced after-treatment systems are used.
Introduced in 2002. For high-speed, four-stroke engines, included EGR engines,
designed to meet USA 2002 exhaust emission standards. It admits diesel fuels ranging CI-4
in sulfur content up to 0.5%. (Also variation viscosity control).
Introduced in 1995. For severe duty, high-speed, four-stroke engines using fuel with CG-4 CG-4
less than 0.5% sulfur content.
Introduced in 1994. For off-road, indirect-injection diesel engines including those CF CF-4
using fuel with over 0.5% sulfur content. (CF-4)
ACEA - 08
For high-performance engines under heavy-duty conditions, with E3
EGR and/or SCR, and long-drain oil interval.
For high-performance engines under heavy-duty conditions, with
EGR and/or SCR. E7
For high-performance engines under heavy-duty conditions, with
EGR and long-drain oil interval. Low SAPS for Particulate Filters (DPF),
requires fuel with low sulfur content.
For high-performance engines under heavy-duty conditions,
with EGR. Low SAPS for Particulate Filters (DPF), requires fuel with low
sulfur content.
