Mercedes Benz renews the MB-Approval 228.3 certificate for the OLIPES Averoil 15W40 Global lubricant, showing that the demanding German manufacturer approves its use in its vehicles, such as vans, commercial vehicles, long distance transportation lorries, etc., which require a high-quality multigrade lubricant to facilitate starting at low temperatures and ensure the maximum protection and reliability of the engine and turbo.

Averoil 15W40 Global is a high-performance SHPD Extended Oil Drain Interval (EODI) engine lubricant, recommended for lubricating Euro IV/V and earlier engines, turbocharged with or without intercooler and naturally aspirated engines equipped with exhaust after-treatment systems (EGR valve, SCR catalyst).

It also has the approvals of the API (American Petroleum Institute), the Volvo Group and its Mack brands, and Renault Industrial Vehicle, under their VDS-3 approval (Volvo), EO-N approval (Mack) and RDL-2 approval (Renault VI) specifications.

Averoil 15W40 Global also exceeds the following specifications: ACEA E7-12API CI4 / CH4 / CG4 / CF4, CAT: ECF-2 / ECF-1a, CUMMINS CES 20076 / 20077, IVECO, MACK: EO-M+/EO-M, MAN: M 3275-1, MTU: Type 2 and Scania, among others.

Averoil 15W40 Global is the lubricant chosen by transport professionals around the world for the maintenance of their vehicles, thanks to its detergent qualities that reduce the formation of lacquers, varnishes and residue in the engine, improving its lubrication and increasing its durability and reliability. These characteristics allow it to offer longer service cycles and, with this, reduce maintenance costs.

OLIPES recommends using Mid SAPS synthetic engine lubricants such as Averoil FAP and Averoil UHP for Euro V/VI engines with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF/FAP), because Averoil 15W40 Global is not compatible with these filtration systems.
