PortuguêsAveroil 5W-30 FPW3 is a high-performance synthetic lubricant formulated with advanced Low SAPS technology (low sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur content), essential for protecting particulate filters. It has been specially developed by Olipes to reduce wear and extend the service life of emission control systems in most Stellantis diesel and gasoline engines.
This lubricant has been optimized to provide enhanced protection in Stellantis group engines, especially in 1.5 diesel BlueHDi (DV5R series) and 1.2 turbo gasoline EB2 (PureTech) engines of the first and second generation. Due to their design and technical requirements, these engines require lubricants that strictly comply with the FPW 9.55535/03 Stellantis specification to ensure durability, efficiency and protection against premature wear.

“The Stellantis engines (Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, DS, Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo) of the DV5R series, 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel, and the 1.2 turbo PureTech gasoline, a highly efficient three-cylinder unit (100/130 hp), stand out for their low fuel consumption. However, they have faced reliability issues due to excessive wear of different components, affecting a large number of models manufactured before February 2023,” comments Roberto González, Head of Technical Assistance Service at Olipes.
The new lubricant Averoil 5W-30 FPW3 offers high anti-wear performance, resulting in complete protection of pistons, piston rings and cylinder liners. In addition, thanks to its specific detergent and dispersant additives, it provides optimal protection against wear by preventing soot and deposit formation, while delivering high thermal stability and resistance to chemical degradation.
Averoil 5W-30 FPW3 will initially be marketed in 5-litre containers and 200-litre drums.
