The event also included recognition of sponsors, the presentation of the young riders from the cycling school and the introduction of the women’s team CCB-BECANI, which will compete this season in an eight-race calendar within the Spanish Cup. The club’s sporting structure thus maintains a dual approach: promoting grassroots cycling while supporting the national-level competitive development of its women’s team. The participation of CCB-BECANI is also reflected in the official RFEC competition records.
Within this calendar, Betanzos will once again play a leading role on April 11 with the Comarca Brigantina Camiño de Santiago race, part of the Women’s Spanish Cup. According to the organisers, the event is expected to gather more than 400 riders from over 30 clubs and cycling schools across Spain. The event has already been publicly announced by the club’s network.
For Olipes, supporting initiatives like this reflects a way of understanding sponsorship based on effort, consistency, training and local roots. Club Ciclista Betanzos embodies this combination of tradition, youth development and future projection, making sport a driver of community and development.
Through its support of the club’s 2026 season, Olipes strengthens its commitment to projects that promote grassroots sport, foster young talent and enhance the visibility of women’s cycling at national level.
